Our Members
They meet the rigorous academic and clinical training requirements set forth by the College of Psychologists & Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO), including:
Members must complete extensive academic and clinical training to meet the high standards required for entry into the profession.
Members are required to pass designated written exams to demonstrate their professional knowledge and competence.
Members must successfully complete an oral examination designed to assess their readiness for professional practice and their understanding of ethics and standards.
Some members may be working under the supervision of a registered psychologist or psychological associate during their post-graduate year of supervised practice. In these instances, clients are informed of their supervisory status. They are not listed in our Online Directory until they are fully licensed for autonomous practice.
Finally, some members are retired and are no longer providing services to the public, but remain interested and involved in the Academy.
