Child In Mind is a well established private practice clinic in Ottawa, ON, offering psychological
services for the whole family. We are seeking clinicians who are passionate about working in a
collaborative group of over 20 professionals offering exceptional, and broad ranging
psychological support to children, teens, and their families. Our collaborative and
multidisciplinary clinical team provides services including psychological & learning assessments,
therapy services, educational consultation and pediatric consultation. We specialize in a wide
range of presenting concerns including learning challenges and exceptionalities, divorce,
depression, anxiety, ADHD, behavioural challenges, bullying, trauma, parent-child relationship
challenges and social withdrawal. Our team also specializes in working with adults, couples and

Who we are looking for
● Ph.D.in clinical psychology (completed or in pursuit of) from accredited university or
equivalent
● Eligibility for Licensure for clinical practice (autonomously or supervised) in the Province
of Ontario
● Solid theoretical foundation and knowledge in evidence-based clinical practice with
children, teens, adults, couples and/or families
● A history of building strong relationships with clients and community partners
● The ability to identify and understand complex needs of individuals, children, teens and
family systems
● Proficiency in conducting psychological, educational and learning assessments (not
required)
● A demonstrated interest in working with a collaborative team of clinicians

The Job
● Manage a caseload of therapy and/or assessment clients
● Attend bi-weekly clinical team meetings, lunch and learn opportunities, and in-house
training
● Assess the needs of the clinical needs of the client and develop a treatment plan to
address these concerns
● Collaborate with other professionals and community partners (eg schools, physicians)
● Work collaboratively with the clinical team
