The Ottawa Anxiety and Trauma Clinic (OATC) currently has openings for mental health professionals looking for part-time office space.
Located in the Billings Bridge Mall at 2277 Riverside Drive in Ottawa, OATC has been in existence for over 20 years, and has a regular flow of referrals from a variety of sources. All of our clinicians are busy and generally have waiting lists.
Our team is looking for registered mental health professionals (psychologists, psychiatrists, clinical social workers, or psychotherapists) with an interest in assessing and treating psychological trauma. Supervised practice psychologists are also welcomed to apply for potential primary or secondary practices. Office space is available for 1-2 days per week in several of the OATC clinical offices at this point in time.
A significant benefit of working at OATC is the opportunity to have regular interaction with a team of mental health professionals. The team also provides monthly clinical evenings to offer trainings and facilitate peer discussions regarding a variety of topics. There are a total of five clinical offices, one full-time admin office, a waiting room for clients, and a spacious lunch room which facilitates interaction with colleagues.
Parking is free for clients at the mall, and annual parking passes are available for OATC clinicians at a low cost. The OATC operates from a cost-sharing perspective, where the clinician is charged a monthly rental fee, and then collects their full client fees. All clinicians are required to be regulated mental health professionals in good standing with their respective regulatory College, and to have their own professional liability insurance.
Note that currently all OATC clinicians are working remotely due to the pandemic, but hope to be back to in-person services soon.
